Altria ends agreement with Juul in US, freeing up both companies to compete

Altria has disclosed in a filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it is ending its non-compete agreement with Juul.

The agreement effectively means that Altria itself did not participate in the US vaping sector, instead relying on its investment in Juul to generate returns in that area.
