Are e-cigs and weed leaving tobacco the poor relation among young US adults?

Young adults in the US are giving up on cigarettes as their consumption of cannabis outgrows that of tobacco – and there are suggestions that e-cigarettes are also steering them away from smoking.

Based on recently published Gallup data, more than twice as many young people say they smoke cannabis as smoke conventional cigarettes. And according to Gallup’s research, vaping may also be partly accountable for the decrease in tobacco smoking rates among young adults.
