Bosnia and Herzegovina: e-cigarette regulation, September 2022

Bosnia and Herzegovina does not have a uniform tobacco policy because this is a prerogative of two entities, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska. In 2023, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will adopt a new law inspired by the EU Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) that regulates e-cigarettes.

This report offers a comprehensive overview of the current regulatory framework in place in Bosnia and Herzegovina for e-cigarettes, covering all policy areas from advertising and notification to retail channel and labelling and packaging restrictions.
