China: e-cigarette regulation, May 2022

In November 2021, vapour products intended for the internal market were regulated as tobacco products in China. The e-cigarette national standard introducing a ban on nicotine-free e-liquids and synthetic nicotine will enter into force on 1st October 2022, and a nicotine cap of 20 mg/ml will be implemented at the same time.
