The Czech Republic incorporated the EU Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) into its domestic legal system in 2017.

The Czech Republic is set to become the main EU proponent of tobacco harm-reduction policy following a change in philosophy among leaders. Successful implementation of harm reduction could lead to the promotion of vaping products as well as alternative tobacco products such as nicotine pouches or snus to current conventional cigarette smokers. This report provides a detailed overview of the current, and near future, regulations governing e-cigs and related products in the Czech Republic.
