Product notification is free of charge.

No excise tax is levied on e-cigarettes.

Cross-border distance sales are allowed.

Fairly liberal norms on vaping in public places allow the use of e-cigarettes in catering establishments.

Non-nicotine products are treated almost the same as nicotine-containing e-cigarettes.

Point-of-sale advertising is considered legal.

An excise duty on heated tobacco products is to be introduced in early 2019.
