E-cigarettes could face new restrictions under Morocco’s tobacco regime

Morocco is considering including e-cigarettes under its regulatory regime for tobacco, increasing possible fines for advertising, imposing restrictions on public use, and establishing a minimum purchase age.

The left-wing Party of Progress and Socialism, which has 22 seats in the 395-seat House of Representatives, has proposed amending Law No. 15.91/1995 to apply tobacco product rules to e-cigarettes.
