ECigIntelligence carried out an online survey of nearly 300 individual US vape stores in April 2018 to identify key regional variations between stores. Here you can see the survey results
Our latest look at the Florida e-cig market investigates how vape stores are geographically located and how this distribution is related to the geographical concentration of tobacco stores. We also look at how much of a correlation there is between vape store concentration and the demographic characteristics of cities, such as population, education levels and household income. We identified and verified 477 vape stores and acquired a list of 5738 tobacco retail stores.
An online survey was carried out on U.S. e-cigarette consumers by ECigIntelligence between October 2016 and January 2017 in the U.S. The survey was carried out with support from consumer association CASAA (Consumer Advocates for Smoke-Free Alternatives Association) and a number of other associations and trade press.
In this November 2016 analysis we focused on stores which we believed to be dedicated to vaping, the traditional definition of a vape store. The directories to a large extent are populated with these stores, however we cleaned the data of stores which were clearly tobacconists or other non-specialist stores.
