The Minnesota Clean Indoor Air Act (MCIAA) and a series of amendments that include e-cigarettes became effective from 1st August with the aim to “protect humans” from second-hand cigarette smoke from combustibles and aerosol from e-cigarettes, vaporisers, and e-hookah devices.

This week, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) filed a memo in opposition to a motion for a summary judgment in US District Court in Maryland for a lawsuit against the tobacco deeming extensions.
