Ghana: The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has issued a statement saying the sale, advertising and recreational use of nicotine e-cigarettes and “other non-nicotine tobacco products” are forbidden. It calls on manufacturers, importers, wholesalers and retailers to immediately remove all advertisements for products that can be registered “as a prescription only medicine for smoking cessation”, and to stop importing them.
