Canada - Quebec: Province health minister Christian Dubé has published an amendment to the Tobacco Control Act that introduces a ban on non-tobacco-flavoured e-liquids, a 20 mg/ml cap on nicotine, a 2 ml capacity limit for tanks and 30 ml for refill containers, and further packaging restrictions. The regulation, which will come into force on 31st October, also prohibits vapour products that resemble toys, jewellery, food, animals, or real or fictional characters, or that employ any other form, appearance or function that may be attractive to under-age consumers.

Canada - Quebec: An Update on Québec’s Economic and Financial Situation, published by the provincial Ministry of Finance, reveals the ministry’s intention of introducing a tax on vapour products in order to discourage their use. No timeline is specified for the implementation of such a tax.
