Health agency consultants recommend preserving Brazilian e-cigarette ban

A long-anticipated report on possible future e-cigarette regulation will not make pleasant reading for Brazil’s vaping industry.

The report from the technical consultants to the National Health Surveillance Agency, ANVISA, was released this month, having been expected since 2018. The report itself does not represent a final decision, simply a recommendation that will be taken into account by the agency’s board when that final decision is made – likely later this year.
