Israel: e-cigarette regulation, August 2022

E-cigarettes and e-liquids are regulated in Israel under the Tobacco Act, and they are subject to the same restrictions as combustible cigarettes.

No major changes are expected to take place by the end of 2022. It seems rather unlikely that the regulations in force will be relaxed in the future, taking into account the negative approach that ruling governments and opposition parties have held towards vapour products in recent years.

This report offers an overview of the current regulatory framework for e-cigs and related products in Israel, covering all policy areas from taxation, notification and labelling to advertising, product restrictions and public usage.
