Multiple letters from lobbying associations have urged US officials to act on vaping regulation in general and synthetic nicotine in particular.
One letter published on 7th March came from a diverse group of more than 50 associations. It lobbied senate majority leader Chuck Schumer and House speaker Nancy Pelosi to quickly enact legislation at the earliest possible opportunity to enable the US Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products to regulate all synthetic nicotine products rather than having to make determinations on a case-by-case basis.
