Luxembourg: e-cigarette regulation, June 2022

Luxembourg regulated vapour products in June 2017. The country has the highest notification fee in Europe (€5,000). The absence of proposals and legislative changes for the past few years suggests that Luxembourg is willing to wait for the revision of the tobacco legislation at EU level.

This report provides a comprehensive overview of the current regulatory regime in place in Luxembourg for e-cigarettes and their related products. It covers all policy areas from product restrictions and labelling and packaging rules to notification, advertising and taxation.
