New York State regulatory report

Around 30 new bills which would restrict vapour products in various ways have been introduced to the New York State Assembly and Senate since the 2019 legislative session convened on 9th January 2019 – all sponsored by Democratic members.

Governor Andrew Cuomo has again included a proposed tax in the state budget.

Throughout this report, all “near future” sections have been updated to take account of proposed bills (regulatory framework, age restrictions, product restrictions, notification and licensing requirements, retail channels, public usage, advertising and marketing, and taxation).
