The UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has met vaping manufacturer Elf Bar to discuss action it will be taking to ensure compliance with tobacco regulations after certain products were found to have tanks exceeding the size permitted for disposables in the UK.
The voluntary recall followed product testing by a British newspaper, the results of which have since been reported in other publications. The MHRA has confirmed that the larger capacity tanks pose no risk to consumer health.
