Amendments to the Law on Tobacco Products and Related Products were adopted in May 2019 to regulate vaping products in North Macedonia. The country’s regulatory framework on vaping very much follows the EU’s Tobacco Products Directive, despite not being a member of the European Union. This report provides a detailed overview of the current regulatory framework in place for vaping in North Macedonia, covering all policy areas from packaging and advertising to taxation, notification and sanctions.
