The UK’s National Centre for Smoking Cessation and Training (NCSCT) has come to the conclusion that a combination of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) and vaping products can be more effective than either on their own in helping smokers quit – though e-cigarettes alone come very close.
The organisation, which supports the efforts of local stop-smoking services across the UK, found that there was “strong evidence” to support the combined approach.
