The new Belgian law, transposing the TPD, came into force in January 2017, ending the classification of e-cigarettes as medical devices and imposing severe restrictions, including an online sales ban as well as product, packaging, labelling and advertising restrictions – as explained in this December 2016 ECigIntelligence report.
