Egypt: Law 177/2023 on the amendments to law 67/2016 has been signed by the president and published in the Official Gazette. Under the new amendments, nicotine-containing and nicotine-free e-liquids are subject to a special value-added tax at a rate of EGP4 ($0.12) per ml, instead of EGP2 ($0.06) per ml.
