Ukraine: At the beginning of May, the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) adopted in the first reading Bill 9206, which amends the Advertising Act by implementing EU norms into Ukrainian legislation. The bill proposes, among other things, to ban vaping product placement in audiovisual media and on video-sharing platforms (exclusively for programmes and videos created after 1st January 2024).
