Regulatory report: Denmark

The Danish vapour industry must prepare for important changes this year – to be implemented in phases – following the approval of Bill L61, which introduces stricter restrictions than the EU Tobacco Products Directive (TPD). A bill on the implementation of an excise duty for nicotine-containing e-liquids was introduced in November 2020 and the proposal sets a rate of DKK2 (€0.27) per ml starting July 2022.

This report covers all existing and upcoming regulation for vaping products in Denmark.
