The Amendment Act to the Tobacco Act and the Alcohol, Tobacco, Fuel and Electricity Excise Duty Act 9 SE is an approved bill which transposes two articles of the EU Tobacco Directive and will implement a pan-European system for the detection and tracking of tobacco products to curb the illicit tobacco market. Although the bill is not concerned with vapour products, one of the amendments proposed for this bill will remove the ban on menthol-flavoured e-liquids.
