In 2016, Poland transposed the European Union’s Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) into national law with an amendment to the Act on Protection of Health Against the Consequences of Consumption of Tobacco and Tobacco Products. This legislation takes a stringent approach to nicotine vapour products, making them equivalent in most respects to tobacco.
This report takes a look at the current regulatory regime in place for vaping products in Poland, covering all areas of law from product and packaging restrictions, to notification, enforcement, and taxation – including a number of recent changes.
