Slovakia transposed the EU Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) into national law in 2016, the Act on Production, Labelling and Sale of Tobacco and other related products. There are no existing laws on e-cigarette taxation and there are currently no plans to change that. This report provides a comprehensive overview of the current regulatory regime for e-cigs and their related products in Slovakia, covering everything from product and labelling requirements to retail channel restrictions, advertising laws and sanctions.
