The majority of people in Taiwan support proposals that will likely strengthen bans on vaping but continue to allow heated tobacco products in the country.
A survey conducted by the National Health Administration found that around 70% of people support the ban on the manufacturing, import, sales, and advertising e-cigarettes that will come into force if recent proposals amending the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act pass through the Taiwanese legislature with no further changes – as is expected to happen.
