Taiwanese majority backs e-cigarette ban that would leave HnB untouched

The majority of people in Taiwan support proposals that will likely strengthen bans on vaping but continue to allow heated tobacco products in the country.

A survey conducted by the National Health Administration found that around 70% of people support the ban on the manufacturing, import, sales, and advertising e-cigarettes that will come into force if recent proposals amending the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act pass through the Taiwanese legislature with no further changes – as is expected to happen.
