UK advertising watchdog’s bark falls on deaf ears when querying TikTok vape ads

Two more companies have ignored queries from the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) on the appropriateness of nicotine-containing e-cigarette ads on the social media platform TikTok.

Geekvape and ShenZhen Woody Vapes (trading as Voopoo) both failed to respond to ASA enquiries about TikTok posts. The advertising watchdog said it was “concerned” about the companies’ lack of responses and apparent disregard for the UK’s advertising code.
