UK and Dutch data suggests flavour bans could alter vaping, not trigger smoking

Two surveys suggest flavour bans are the biggest potential changer of current vaper behaviour but that their implementation would not necessarily drive current vapers back to smoking.

One new UK study found broad support for multiple restrictions on advertising and marketing among current vapers. But those vapers would not want to see restrictions placed on the variety of flavours available or the sale of disposables. Nor would they want measures that would increase the cost of e-cigarettes, such as additional taxes or minimum pricing.
