UK government expects applications next year for medically licensed e-cigs

The minister responsible for primary care and public health has told UK members of parliament that the government expects applications next year for several vaping products to be medically licensed.

During a debate in the House of Commons on the independent Khan review of smoke-free 2030 policies, junior minister Neil O’Brien said vaping was far less harmful than smoking. And he said there was more the government could do to support smokers in switching while also preventing children from vaping.
