United Arab Emirates: e-cigarette regulation, May 2025

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) legalised the use and distribution of e-cigarettes in April 2019.

A draft regional standard on liquids and products used in electronic alternatives to traditional tobacco has been finalised and adopted. The standard is expected to introduce changes in health warnings, packaging, device and battery requirements, and permitted flavours.
