The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) took immediate action against unauthorised vaping products made with synthetic nicotine still found on the US market after the grace period expired.
Two companies, Swagg Sauce and Electric Smoke Vapor House, were issued warning letters by the agency on 13th July – technically the last day they were permitted to have products on the market without a premarket tobacco product application (PMTA) submitted by 14th May.
