Pro-vaping lobbyists have urged Spanish voters to back centre and right-leaning parties in the 23rd July elections. They fear that if the current centre-left coalition remains in power they will continue to implement new tobacco regulations which the vaping advocates perceive as damaging to the e-cigarette industry.
The coalition has already said it believes vaping is as harmful as smoking and wants to bring in further restrictions, according to Arturo Ribes, president of Spain’s Union of Vaping Promoters and Entrepreneurs (UPEV).
