US - Georgia: Senate Bill (SB) 537 has been introduced. The bill would remove the tax difference that currently exists between closed-system and open-system vapour products. The tax rate on vapour products would be increased to 15% of the wholesale cost price. Currently, closed systems are taxed at a rate of $0.05 per fluid ml, while open systems are taxed at 7% of the wholesale cost price.

US - Georgia:House Bill 1260 has been introduced, which would require the commissioner of agriculture to establish and maintain a directory of nicotine vapour products that are authorised for sale in the state. It would be unlawful to sell any product that is not listed in the directory. According to the bill, the commissioner must make the directory available by 1st January 2025 on their public website.

US - Georgia: House Bill 192 has been introduced. This bill would increase the tax rate on vapour products. All vapour products would be taxed at 15% of the wholesale price, eliminating the difference between closed and open systems.

US - Georgia:Senate Bill (SB) 572 has been introduced. This bill would require vapour product manufacturers and sellers to deliver an attestation to the attorney general stating that the product has received a marketing granted order by the FDA; it would require the attorney general to develop a vapour product directory, which would be publicly available for inspection; and it would ban any vapour product manufacturer from manufacturing or selling any vapour product not included in such a directory.
