Latvia: e-cigarette regulation, January 2023

The Act on Tobacco products, herbal smoking products and electronic smoking devices (Tobacco Products Act) is the key statutory instrument concerning e-cigarettes (with or without nicotine) in Latvia. It was adopted in May 2016, transposing the EU Tobacco Products Directive (TPD). A flavour ban on e-cigarettes and innovative tobacco products, such as heated tobacco, is expected to be passed this year.
