Nicotine-containing e-cigarettes are among the most effective aids in smoking cessation, according to a new analysis of existing research.
The drugs varenicline (marketed as Chantix and Champix) and cytisine (marketed as Tabex) appear equally potent in helping people quit, as does the simultaneous use of more than one kind of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT), such as patches and lozenges.
