Paraguay: the hub for illegal trafficking of e-cigarettes into Argentina and Brazil

Paraguay has become the main entry point for the millions of vaping devices sold and consumed illegally in Argentina and Brazil, according to industry experts.

The import of vapes is prohibited in Argentina and Brazil though, in both South American countries, the devices are regularly used in public and easy to obtain. In Brazil, there are an estimated 4m e-cigarette consumers, while in Argentina, the number of users is said to be around 1m.
