Cyprus: e-cigarette regulation, October 2024

E-cigarette products are regulated by the Health Protection (Smoking Control) Law of 2017 (Law 24/2017). This law transposed the TPD and also gives powers for further regulation under the Health Protection (Smoking control) Regulations 2017.

Electronic cigarettes are defined as any product that can be used for the consumption of nicotine-containing vapour through a mouthpiece, or any of its components, including cartridges, tanks and the hardware without cartridge or tank.

This report provides a comprehensive overview of the current regulatory framework in place for e-cigarettes in Cyprus.
