FDA announces ANPRM amid youth e-cig flavour concerns

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), concerned about flavours leading youth to start vaping, has issued an advance notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPRM) to explore options for regulation.

FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb recently stated in a CNBC interview that an ongoing concern for the agency was that youth access to e-cigs risks “addicting a whole new generation”.
