In our latest look at e-cigarette regulation in Ohio and the city of Columbus, we find that the authorities have been mainly focusing on increasing the legal purchasing age to 21. There is currently no proposed bill to widen vaping regulation at the state level, however public health organisations have been heavily advocating the taxing of e-cigs. Meanwhile, numerous local authorities have adopted, or have been considering, additional restrictions for e-cigarettes, including advertising bans, the imposing of retail licensing fees, and extending the public vaping ban.
