Some members of the American vaping industry appear to be embracing the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)’s restrictions on flavours, expected to be officially announced today.
The sale of fruit and candy flavoured e-liquids is to be banned in convenience stores and fuel stations but not vape stores.
The restrictions were leaked to the press last week, though the FDA has remained somewhat tip-lipped about confirming the details. Only tobacco, mint and menthol flavours are expected to be saleable in the restricted locations.
Stricter age verification measures for online sales are also expected to be required.
Since the impending restrictions became public, multiple members of the industry have already taken action to show that they can live with them.
