Altria subsidiary Njoy is taking action against Juul Labs over alleged patent infringements, filing a complaint with the US International Trade Commission (ITC) and initiating a lawsuit in a federal court.
The complaint to the ITC seeks a ban on the importation and sale of certain Juul vapour products, including its currently marketed device and pods. The complaint alleges that the Juul products infringe patents owned by Njoy.
