Regulatory report: Colombia, March 2022

Colombia is one of the few countries in its region not to ban or tightly regulate e-cigarettes beyond broad consumer laws. However, there are two bills under consideration by the Chamber of Representatives that would regulate e-cigs and bring them broadly into line with other tobacco laws.

This report explains the scope of these bills and their effect on sales outlets, packaging, advertising and places of consumption if they are implemented.

There is also a list of original online documents for relevant Colombian laws and bodies concerned with e-cigarettes.
