VapExpo promises to gather all the top names to Las Vegas show

A vape expo which organisers say will be one of the biggest events of the year for the e-cig industry will take place in Las Vegas on 9th and 10th November.

VapExpo will be held at Las Vegas Convention Center concurrently with a CBD event, CBD.io, at the same venue.

Billed as “one of the world’s leading vape expos”, it promises to provide “unparalleled international exposure in a professional environment”.

Organisers say virtually every major industry player will take part in the event, an expansion into the US of the French-based VapExpo, which recently held its tenth show in Paris.

“Their main mission is to just deliver a professional vape show in a pure business setting,” one of the US-based organisers for the event told ECigIntelligence. The organisers contrast this with previous vape shows which they say have sometimes focused on free giveaways, loud music and other non-business-oriented draws.

‘Modders gallery’

The VapExpo event will feature a series of seminars promising to “bullet-proof” vape shops and distributors, called the “Trade Secrets Series”.

The programme for the show highlights a “modders gallery” where visitors will be invited to “discover the pinnacle of high-end hardware from around the world”.

There will also be an international buyer host programme, of which the event website says: “VapExpo will be flying in global distribution leaders for an unforgettable weekend with the hosting brands. It starts with a private breakfast Friday morning with keynote speakers on the latest market trends. This is followed by scheduled meetings with each distributor to review product offerings and learn about their markets.”

Among participants at the event will be companies such as Blu, Charlie’s Chalk Dust, Cosmic Fog Vapors, Mad Hatter Juice, and Smok. ECigIntelligence managing director Tim Phillips will be among the speakers.

Organisers say they expect around 12,000-15,000 people to attend over the course of the two days. A multi-episode documentary will be filmed for Netflix at the show, and there will be a wrap party on the Saturday evening, according to the ticketline for the event.

    ‘Epic collaboration’

The vaping event will combine with the CBD exhibition in what VapExpo and CBD.io are calling  “an epic collaboration of two industries”.

CBD-io said: “The vape industry has been one of the earliest adopters of hemp products, fueling the rapid growth of education and use since its beginning. Partnering with VapExpo facilitates this growth by combining the exhibit space to allow vendors, buyers and affiliates the chance to do business in one central location.”

Promotional materials promise domestic and international buyers from a range of industries, covering healthcare to pets, to sports nutrition, to food, to textiles, to alternative medicine.

US-based organisers said they had “all the main players”, mentioning Blue Moon, Charlotte’s Webb, and “Instagram king” Dan Bilzerian.

Two stages which have been turned into social media studios at the event will be live-streaming across the globe. Various prominent figures in the field, including chefs, doctors and basketball players will be present to discuss the future of the field.
