Panama resists all attempts to repeal national ban on e-cigarette products

Vaping advocates in Panama have been repeatedly frustrated in their efforts to get a blanket ban on e-cigarettes overturned.

An official body of the Panama National Assembly ruled in March that a bill seeking to create a legal framework to regulate the e-cigarette market was “unviable” the latest blow to the industry in the Central American country, which banned the use, import and sales of electronic nicotine delivery systems in 2022.
