US vape store survey 2023 – continued pessimism for a struggling industry

ECigIntelligence has once again conducted its annual online survey of vape stores in the US. This latest survey was undertaken in the period from August to September 2023.

This report details and analyses the results of the 2023 survey, revealing a drop in monthly revenue; an increase in disposables stocks and a decrease in e-liquids and hardware; and concerns over business continuing to slow.

The only indicators showing a positive trend are the rising number of stores that plan to increase their environmental initiatives or keep those they have in place, and there is some appetite to spend on marketing to differentiate themselves from the competition.
