Bulgaria takes a relatively liberal approach to vaping. In 2016, the country regulated nicotine-containing e-cigarettes by transposing the EU Tobacco Products Directive (TPD); no major updates have been adopted since. In conversations with the authorities, ECigIntelligence has learned that there is no intention to create a specific regulation for non-nicotine cigarettes.
