FDA and DOJ collaboration against the influx of illegal e-cigarettes into the US

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) have collaborated on eight injunctions against companies that have continued to sell unauthorised vape products.

The agencies have announced the creation of a multi-agency task force to curb the distribution and sale of illegal e-cigarettes.

This report discusses the background leading up to the creation of this task force, examines options companies have and some individual cases, and looks at the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on illicit e-cigarettes.
