France to ban disposable e-cigarettes to stop ‘bad habits’ among young vapers

France is to ban disposable e-cigarettes as part of its national tobacco control plan – but will not raise taxes on any tobacco products.

In an interview with French broadcaster RTL, French prime minister Élisabeth Borne said the government is taking action because disposable vapes, known as puffs in France, give young users “bad habits”.
