9th November 2023: Canada - Saskatchewan: The Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan has passed bill 147, which amends the Tobacco and Vapour Products Control Act to increase the minimum age for purchasing tobacco and vapour products from 18 to 19.
21st August 2023: Canada - Saskatchewan: The Ministry of Health has published proposed amendments to the Tobacco and Vapour Products Control Act which aim to increase the legal age to buy e-cigarettes from 18 to 19, remove the possibility of customers sampling vapour products at age-restricted retailers, and increase advertising restrictions. A survey on the proposed amendments can be taken until 4th September.
19th August 2022: Canada - Saskatchewan: The Ministry of Finance has told ECigIntelligence that the federal excise duty on vapour products, due to come into force on 1st October, will not replace the provincial Vapour Products Tax.
